Google Maps and National Geographic are using an interesting medium to bring everyone together to honor the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. Everyone remembers where he or she was during that fateful moment when they heard the towers had been struck. Now with the help of an interactive map we can all come together to locate ourselves and tell our story.
The beauty of this map is that it commemorates the unified presence and brotherly bond that we all shared in the wake of these unconscionable acts. The app is available through Facebook and users are allowed to explore all over the map and see everyone’s story.
