Mobile devices continue to evolve and users continue to flock to the mobile device market. As a result mobile applications are soaring in usage time. Consequently, increasing demand is being placed on inbound marketing strategies to target mobile devices users.

In a study released by Flurry Analytics, people are spending more time inside mobile applications than they are on the web.

Mobile Applications Usage Time Redirects Your Inbound Marketing Strategy

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR INBOUND MARKETING PLANS?

If you are designating your inbound marketing plan to include a mobile application strategy, you should make sure that you center the advertisement on mobile applications. The chart above clearly shows that Games and Social Networking categories capture the significant majority of consumers’ time.  Consumers spend nearly half their mobile online time using Games, and a third of their time in Social Networking apps.  Combined, these two categories control a whopping 79% of consumers’ total app time on their mobile devices.

As the methods of internet connectivity continue to change, so too must your inbound marketing philosophy. If a majority of your users are on mobile devices you cannot be negligent of that statistic because you may lose out on potential leads.

Let’s talk more on inbound marketing strategies for mobile devices. Don’t forget to subscribe to our blog, its easy as pie.
