RIM released BlackBerry Messenger 6 on Thursday with some new features that should please most of it’s 45 million users. BlackBerry Messenger has been far and away the most popular use of a BlackBerry and this update should look to only increase the approval. Applications that support BBM6 will allow users to interact with BlackBerry Messenger while using the application itself. Foursquare , The Huffington Post, Wikitude, Telemap, Scoremobile, and Poynt are just some the early applications that support BBM6. Check out this video from BlackBerry World to see a demo of how Foursquare takes advantage of BBM6.
