Christmas weekend is here and if you haven’t had the opportunity to check out some holiday light celebrations around Hampton Roads you’re not too late. Here is some information on some holiday light displays near you:

• Celebration In Lights – Newport News Park – Newport News – Virginia’s first drive-through holiday light event, will transform Newport News Park with over half a million individual lights creating animated holiday and fanciful scenes.
• Holiday Lights At The Beach – Virginia Beach Boardwalk – Virginia Beach – It’s the only time of the year that cars get to drive right on the boardwalk – for over 30 blocks!  30,000 vehicles a year make the trek through this holiday wonderland.  This “Fanta-Sea” of lights is sure to dazzle and amaze holiday travelers visiting Virginia Beach.
• Garden of Lights – Norfolk Botanical Gardens – Norfolk – Bring your family and friends to our 17th annual light show extravaganza for a magical holiday experience. During this event, our garden is transformed into a winter wonderland where you can enjoy a 2-mile drive through a million sparkling lights bringing the four seasons to life.
• Christmas Town – Busch Gardens – Williamsburg – Christmas Town just got a whole lot brighter. Polar Pathway turns Escape from Pompeii into breathtaking waterfalls of light. The smell of pine trees in the crisp frosty air welcomes visitors to this winter wonderland, complete with one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.
