			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I read an <a title="Klout + Gamification = Extra Perks for Influencers?" href="http://mashable.com/2012/02/16/klout-gamificaton/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Mashable+%28Mashable%29&amp;utm_content=Google+Reader" target="_blank">article</a> recently on Mashable talking about <a title="Integrating Game Dynamics Into Your Website" href="http://gamification.com/" target="_blank">Gamification</a>, its platform &#8220;<a title="The Behavior Platform" href="http://www.badgeville.com/" target="_blank">Badgeville</a>&#8220;, and how it was incorporating data from <a title="Klout To Launch Mobile Initiative To Better Track And Deliver Social Media User’s Influence" href="http://jasegroup.com/klout-to-launch-mobile-initiative-to-better-track-and-deliver-social-media-users-influence/">Klout</a> to help brands identify, reward, and promote its most influential brand advocates.</p>
<p>The article goes on to talk about how major brands use Klout and other data to reward their most influential followers. Several examples the article gave, as to how big brands reward their social media influencers, were the Palms Hotel &#8220;Klout Klub&#8221; which allowed high ranking users special perks, and Chevrolet offering 3 day loans of its new &#8220;Sonic&#8221; car for Klout users with a score of 35 or higher.</p>
<p>Reading this article got me to thinking:</p>
<p><strong>HOW DOES YOUR BUSINESS REWARD THE MOST INFLUENTIAL SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWERS WHO REWARD YOU?</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s a two way street isn&#8217;t it? Is it enough to simply create consumer interaction? I think not. As marketers, we work hard to establish relationships with our consumers in <a title="Social Media Marketing" href="http://jasegroup.com/social-media-marketing/">social communities</a>. If a follower is going to take his/her time to actively promote your <a title="Brand Management &amp; Reputation Management" href="http://jasegroup.com/brand-management/">brand</a>, then we should reward them for their efforts. The benefit? They will continue to promote your brand and their influential reach will be increased.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In December Twitter rolled out a new <a title="Twitter Slowly Rolling Out New Features To Your Timeline" href="http://jasegroup.com/twitter-slowly-rolling-out-new-features-to-your-timeline/">interface</a> for mobile users at twitter.com. The interesting choice for Twitter was that they did not roll out the update to all users, instead deciding to roll out the update selectively to users over time.</p>
<p>Last week on <a title="New version of Twitter, now on for everyone" href="http://blog.twitter.com/2012/02/new-version-of-twitter-now-on-for.html" target="_blank">Twitter&#8217;s blog</a>, they announced that 3 months later the new interface is finally visible to everyone. So we thought if you were a Twitter user, had not viewed the update yet, and had not heard of the new features that we would recap them for you.</p>
<p>New to the Twitter interface are:</p>
<ul>
<li>Click on any tweet in your timeline to expand it to see photos, videos, retweets, favorites, and more.</li>
<li>&#8220;Connect&#8221; is the new feature to keep conversations going. You can see who tweeted you, mentioned you, followed you, and more.</li>
<li>Discover allows you to see useful and entertaining information based on your interests. It is based on your location, who you follow, and what is happening around the world.</li>
<li><a title="Twitter’s New Brand Pages – Exponentially Increasing Your Brand Awareness &amp; Lead Generation" href="http://jasegroup.com/twitters-new-brand-pages-exponentially-increasing-your-brand-awareness-lead-generation/">Twitter Brand Pages</a> &#8211; Exponentially increase your brand exposure and marketability with these new brand pages for your business.</li>
</ul>
<p>So if you were part of the final group to receive the new Twitter update, now you can dive in and experience it first hand.</p>

Well if you googled &#8220;Romney&#8221; the second result you would find is a satirical website, &#8220;<a title="To Defecate In Terror" href="http://spreadingromney.com/" target="_blank">SpreadingRomney.com</a>&#8220;, aimed to make fun of Governor Mitt Romney&#8217;s family trip where he left the family dog in a crate on top of the car during the entire trip. The story has created quite a stir as apparently the dog defecated itself in the crate, Romney hosed it off, and placed it back in the crate to continue the trip.</p>
