It was a thought. And for a while, it seemed like a very real possibility. Google rolled out Google+ and began to change the way we interfaced with the internet. Backed by Google Search, most experts thought that Google+ would challenge Facebook in a way that few had. But alas, it was not meant to be.

After years of attempting to work Google+ into your day-to-day, Google has announced they are breaking away from Google+, which certainly seals the social community’s fate. How long Google+ will continue to exist is anyone’s guess.
