The first weekend in spring is here and with it the temperature rise, but that is okay too, considering we didn’t have much of a winter. The temperature is nice, but, unfortunately, they are calling for rain all weekend, so you might want to hold off on the barbecues. If you’re looking for something to do in Hampton Roads this weekend, check out some of these local attractions:

  • Suffolk Restaurant Week – Various Locations – Suffolk – From Suffolk’s best-kept culinary secrets to national award winning restaurants, Suffolk Restaurant Week promises a savory blend of the city’s signature flavors. The spring 2012 Suffolk Restaurant Week is slated for March 17-24. During this biannual culinary showcase, participating eateries offer three-course, price fixed menus at the deluxe ($10 lunch/$20 dinner) or premier ($15 lunch/$30 dinner) levels for lunch and dinner.*
  • Norfolk Admirals Hockey – Norfolk Scope – Norfolk – 18 IN A ROW! The Admirals are on fire, they have set the record for the longest winning streak in AHL history, and they can keep it going with a two game home stand against the Albany Devils. Don’t miss the streak!
  • WICKED – Chrysler Hall – Norfolk – This is the last weekend that WICKED will be at the Chrysler Hall. If you haven’t seen the Broadway hit, don’t miss it before it’s gone.

If you happen to make it out to one of these events, tweet us a pic @jasegroup. We would love to see it. Know of anything else going on in Hampton Roads? Let us know so we can spread the word. As always, please feel free to share this article with friends.
