It is the middle of March and Spring is in the air! We have another lovely Hampton Roads weekend on our hands and it just happens to be St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday. So if you are looking for something to do this weekend, there is definitely plenty going on. Check out some of these events:

  • Shamrockin’ In Ghent -Colley Avenue – Norfolk – Join Hope House, BOBFM, your neighbors, and maybe even some leprechauns as we celebrate Ireland at Shamrockin’ in Ghent! It all goes down on Friday, March 16, 2012.*
  • D.L. Hughley – Virginia Beach Funny Bone – Virginia Beach – D.L. has been on the scene for years. He has established himself as one of the funniest comedians of our time and he is in town for shows all weekend. Come check him out.
  • March Mayhem – Bayside Harley Davidson – Portsmouth – All end of season apparel, obsolete parts and accessories 75-90% off. Also, there will be vendors, free food, and music on Saturday.
  • The Fighting Jamesons – The NorVa- Norfolk – What better way to cap off St. Patrick’s Day then a concert from the Celtic rock group The Fighting Jamesons. Tickets are still available.

Virginia Beach Traffic Tip:
If you are going to be at the ocean front this weekend, make sure to account for the traffic, and the shut down of streets for the Shamrock Marathon. The entire ocean front will be occupied by the events and could make getting around to different locations quite difficult.

If you make it out to one of the great events, tweet us a pic @jasegroup, we would love to see. Also, if you know of any events that need mentioning, please feel free to contact us. As always, please feel free to share this article with friends.
