Another beautiful spring weekend is almost here in Hampton Roads. If you don’t already have plans check out these local happenings:

  • Dive For A Cure ’12 – LDC Adventure Outfitters – Virginia Beach -Our event begins at 11:00a.m. April 20 and continues until 11:00 a.m. April 21. This year will mark the 16th year for this fundraiser and, to date, we have raised over $450,000 to battle cancer! Our goal for this year is $75,000. We need your help! There are several ways that you can participate in “Dive for a Cure”. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Certified instructors will be on site to teach you, so beginners to experts alike are welcome! *
  • Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus presents DRAGONS – Hampton Coliseum – Hampton – Experience a sequence of circus spectacles so unreal that uncertainties will unravel, suspicions will shatter and once again you will believe in the unbelievable! For this first time in circus history, magnificence will make way for mystery, chills stand equal to thrills and the inconceivable intersects with imagination as myth meets majesty in the Greatest Show On Earth! **
  • Norfolk Admirals vs. Manchester Monarchs – Norfolk Scope – Norfolk – The Admirals finished the season on a 28 game win streak and head into the playoffs as the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Come see them as they start their run to the championship!
  • Ramp Jam – Bush Gardens – Williamsburg – Guests are in for extreme fun this spring at Busch Gardens’ “Ramp Jam,” part of the ASA Action Sports World Tour. Some of the world’s best skateboards and BMX riders will perform extreme stunts and tricks on the X-Games’ traveling half pipe. ***
