In this fast paced day and age, we do not have time to read long drawn out articles or blog posts. We do not have time to read into that particular article to see if its content is of any real value. If you use an RSS reader to view multiple informational sources, you may not get a good preview of the article to see if it is worth reading. You have to be quick to grab your readers attention.

So how can you make sure that people read your marketing content?

As a creator of marketing content you must make sure that your headlines are concise and to the point. If your headlines are too long and drawn out you may turn people away from your site before they ever read your content. In order to be effective, the headline must clearly state what the article is pertaining to and grab the attention of the reader.

Once you have established a short and to the point headline, then you can expand on your topic with the introductory paragraph. But the key to getting a reader hooked is your ability to deliver a headline that lets the reader know everything they need without having to guess. Your ability to master this technique will determine the attractiveness and effectiveness of your blog.
