Online Video Technology leader Ooyala released it’s first quarterly review in which they revealed an interesting statistic on tablet users, falling in line with JASE’s blog series last week focused on tablet user tendencies. Ooyala revealed that tablet users watch video content on their tablets an average 30% longer than desktop users. Also, tablet users are more than twice as likely to watch the entirety of a video that their desktop brethren.

WE GET IT – KNOW YOUR TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC’S INFORMATION SOURCE. BUT WHY DO BUSINESSES NEED TO TARGET TABLET USERS?

One of JASE’s inbound marketing core principles is the creation of organic content. Video, blogs, webinars, white papers, all are creations of organic content. If a business is creating organic content and effectively distributing that content through the right channels (social media, RSS readers, content sharing communities like Digg/StumbleUpon/Delicious), it is creating brand exposure, and extending its marketing reach.

The creation of quality organic video content could be a potentially beneficial marketing medium for a business. However, do not just assume that a company’s marketing strategy should be focused solely on video content creation. Effective marketing analysis will determine how successful a video campaign can be for your business.

JASE works closely with our clients to find the best possible marketing and advertising strategies to reach our clients’ target consumers. Talk to JASE today and see how we can help you grow your business!
