One of the many challenges of small businesses is client meetings. Large conference rooms with fully equipped projector systems are not always available, yet in today’s digital world presentations are a must.

The invention of the tablet computer has helped. Many times we go into client meetings and use our iPads to display our presentations, but tablets are really only desirable for 1-on-1 meetings.

Introducing the Samsung Galaxy Beam. The Galaxy Beam is the world’s first smartphone that has a built-in projector display. The 4 inch smartphone has a 15 lumens, LED powered, nHD projector that displays a resolution of 480 x 800.

The Samsung smartphone is set to make its debut sometime in Q2, but the question being asked around here is: Will the Samsung Galaxy Beam be an effective tool for businesses?

Obviously, there are some drawbacks to the concept of using your phone as a projector. Namely the lack of quality sound production if you’re trying to show more than just a PowerPoint presentation or a few charts.

A business owner has to be intrigued, however, at the possibility of walking into a conference meeting with all materials and equipment in your hand necessary to close the deal. Simplification is the name of the game, isn’t it?
