Yahoo stepped into the world of web browsers last week. Yahoo’s attempt is to create a more visual world for search. They also plan to streamline your searches between devices.
When you search on your smartphone, tablet, PC, Yahoo wants you to have access to that information regardless of the device you’re using. In essence, allowing you to start a search on one device and allowing you to finish it on another.
Another feature of Axis is that it will replace the standard link view of search results with a visual image of the website you might possibly visit. It is said that some searches can be done without even leaving the page you are currently viewing.
Currently the web browser is available as a plugin to your current web browser, but that could change in the future.
What do you think of the new Axis web browser? Will it be enough to switch you from your default web browser? Leave us a comment below and let us know your thoughts. As always, please feel free to share this article with friends.
